How CSC Approaches Neck Care
The approach begins with a clear assessment of history, functional limitations, and any co-existing factors. Chiropractic care focuses on joint mechanics and related neurological considerations, with preference for non-rotatory methods when indicated. Physiotherapy focuses on soft tissue, muscle function, movement quality, and progressive rehabilitation.
Upper cervical care is provided by Yama Zafer, D.C. at the Bukit Damansara center. Methods are selected according to the individual’s presentation and comfort.
Care remains within the scope of non-invasive chiropractic and physiotherapy services. If the assessment indicates that the presentation requires medical or specialist evaluation (for example progressive neurological signs), the patient is referred appropriately.

What Happens on Your First Visit
You will be greeted, complete a new-patient form, and be escorted to the examination room. A chiropractor or physiotherapist will discuss your history and goals, perform a physical assessment, and review any imaging you bring.
Findings and care-plan options are explained in plain language, including time commitment and fees. Full informed consent is obtained before any hands-on care begins. Patients wear comfortable clothing; disrobing is not required in the large majority of cases.
Stability and Progressive Care
Where appropriate, the sequence prioritizes stability and accurate assessment before progressive exercise. This reduces the risk of aggravating irritable presentations and allows clearer evaluation of response.
